I first used DriversEd.com two years ago for my oldest child and had no hesitations to sign up my next child this past fall. I like it because it is self paced, affordable, and met the requirements for my state and I never have to ask, Have you done your driver's Ed homework? ~ they like the program! It's a mixture of reading, videos, and quizzes that helps prepare the student for the written portion of our state's license exam, but it also covers lots of good information preparing a new driver before he/she gets behind the wheel. We supplement this along with the driver's packet the state provides and another book and then teach the actual behind-the-wheel part ourselves. This is actually our second time using DriversEd.com. We first used them two years ago for our oldest daughter who passed with flying colors.
