| My child enjoys these books. We use the Language Smarts as his curriculum for language arts and supplement the book with other worksheets. The books are easy to use, easy to read and fun to do, with colorful pages and quality information to keep anyone's attention. The products we are using are all fantastic. The workbooks are easy to read, and have great 'thinking' exercises. Their pages are perforated, for removal for portfolios, too. | | We are using Language Smarts B for my Kindergartner and C for my 1st grader. I am very impressed with this curriculum. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, and sequenced well to keep them learning and challenged at a reasonable rate. The activities are varied and interesting, and they scale up gradually from basic phonics to real writing by the end of the year. I love that the answers are not spoon-fed; even in a language arts curriculum, this company's products encourage the kids to THINK, to reason, and to exercise their noodle.
