The Betty Rendel National Scholarship was established in September 1995 in honor of NFRW Past President Betty Rendels extraordinary leadership skills and dedication to the Republican Party. The annual scholarship of $1,000 is designated for an undergraduate woman who is currently majoring in Political Science, Government or Economics. Applicants must have completed their freshman year of college to be eligible to apply.

The scholarship forms are mailed to the State Federation Presidents at the beginning of the year. State Federation Presidents make the scholarship forms available to the Unit Club Presidents. Specific details are included on the scholarship forms. The scholarship is awarded at the NFRW Biennial Convention or Fall Board Meeting.
