Will there be some way of copying/downloading/saving each session to our computer? I noticed on the Colonial Williamsburg website it states: "What does the price include?" The answer says "taping rights". I would first like to know if it's possible to do it (& how) through our computer. Do you also know if it's possible to tape it when it airs on TV? I would love to join for all the programs but would like to use later when we are studying the applicable time period. Colonial Williamsburg has informed us the following regarding taping questions: If the member is watching the program on a public-aired TV station, then taping the broadcast on a VCR for example, is fine and they would have rights to the tape. If they are using the live, or archived, video stream, that is a whole different story. One would need special software (very expensive) and some expertise to use it to get a decent video copy. Really not worth the time/money. We do sell the DVDs for $9.75 for our registered customers at our cost as a customer service courtesy. The member should also remember that all of the video for each trip is on each web site for the whole school year. So if they want to do a program later in the school year, they can do so by watching the video online in the Teacher Resources section. They still cannot download it. We don't give out the rights to download our streamed video. By time shifting the broadcast, they would only miss out on the live call-in opportunity and email opportunity of any time shifted trip.
I participated in the Colonial Williamsburg program "last" school year, here at the Co-op. I see my access is no longer available after August. Is there a way I can still access last year's programs? The EFT field trips scheduled for each school year are available for the applicable school year only. Once our "school license" access is expired, we do not have access. You can, however, contact Colonial Williamsburg directly and ask about purchasing the recorded DVDs. You will need to have (1) been a participant, and (2) reference the Co-op. They may ask you for your email address and last name to verify you are who you say you are.
I have purchased my Colonial Williamsburg EFT program at the Co-op Group Buy page; but, I can't find my access links, login username & password, and general information. We have provided everything you need to access your program in your MY SUBSCRIPTIONS page. Please login to the Co-op website with your member email address and password. Locate your MY SUBSCRIPTIONS page and scroll until you see your Colonial Williamsburg information. The next scheduled live event is posted, as well as individual login links for the program.
