Who is eligible to apply?

SCHOOLS: All schools (grades K-12) in the United States are eligible to apply. Projects must be sponsored by a formally recognized school group, such as a grade level, classroom or club. Public, private, and licensed home schools are all eligible to apply. Individual students (i.e., science fair projects) and previous award winning projects are not eligible to apply.
COMMUNITY GROUPS: Community-based projects, such as those managed and operated by community service organizations, public recreation centers, 4-H clubs and other public, non-profit groups working to protect the environment at the grass-roots level.
Eligibility determination shall be at the sole discretion of SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Fujifilm.

Since 1993, the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks have recognized the outstanding efforts of K-12 students and teachers across the country who are working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment. The "SeaWorld/Busch Gardens/Fujifilm Environmental Excellence Awards" provides school and community groups with a monetary award, national recognition and some well-deserved fun at one of our parks. From the shores of Maine to the California coast, students and adult leaders working on behalf of wildlife and wild places continue to amaze and inspire us.
