Fern and Faerie's Dirt Cheap Diapers instructional site can be found at http://fernandfaerie.com/frugaldiapering.html and includes instructions on how to sew prefolds from t-shirts, hook-and-loop closing fitteds out of t-shirts (pattern included), and flatfold diapers from scavenged fabrics. Tips and tricks for making wool covers is included, and links to a free knitted soaker pattern can also be found!

By using old towels for the soakers, old t-shirts for the inners, and old recieving blankets for the outers I've made two dozen or more having only to buy the elastic and velcro.
