Keep your house cooler, use less energy, and spend less money this summer with the following tips-

Get the most from your air conditioning by-

Combining it with a ceiling and window fans.

Pull the shades, especially south and west facing shades during the day.

Shade your air conditioners outside compressor (but don't block air flow) and change filters monthly in the summer.

AND if you don't have air conditioning try the following-

Turn your computer and monitor off when not in use.

Cook with the microwave, rather than the range.

Air dry dishes, instead of the dishwashers hot cycle.

Lower the thermostat on your hot water heater.
